Overview: SwiftLift Treatment

Individuals with loose and sagging skin in the mid to lower face, may be candidates for a revolutionary treatment known as SwiftLift. It uses a minimal access incision in the front of the ear to pull and tighten the skin, securing it with sutures that are hidden from site. Surgical Technique

The surgical process for a SwiftLift is relatively simple. The surgeon makes a small incision in the area of the temple hair, just above and in front of the ear, continuing the incision around the ear lobe and then circling the ear returning to the point of origin in the scalp. Our surgeon then raises the skin outward and repositions it, then tightens the underlying muscles and connective tissue. Some fat and any excessive skin is also removed. The surgeon then positions the incision and sutures so that it will fall in the natural crease of the skin and is therefore camouflaged.
